Flower ID please!

I'm potting up some spare plants for our seed swap next weekend and can't for the life of me remember whet it's called...and I need to know to be able to translate it into French!!

here is a piccie I found of one....but it doesn't ID it.

it's the purple thistle type one....I'm positive I know the name but seem to be having a senior moment!.....any help will be much appreciated! .....

Could it be knapweed? Only a guess as I'm a bit rubbish at id'ing plants

Knapweed is also a Centaurea so you ID'd the right family

Ha ha - well I did say I was rubbish, but must be getting a little better if I managed the right family!

Thank goodness I don't go foraging - I'd either be very ill or dead!
