  • Interesting daffodil

I've got a strange daffodil growing in my garden and I wondered if anyone knows if its unique. It hasn't actually bloomed yet so maybe it isn't actually a daffodil, though it certainly looks like a daffodil plant with the correct leaves etc. The only difference is the fact that its got four flower heads on it.

I've certainly never seen a daffodil with more than one flower on it and I've googled it to find out if there are any others out there but I can't see any. Has anyone else ever seen or heard of the like before?

I'll keep an eye on it and take more photo's when it actually blooms.

    Cheers.

I have several of them, they came in a bag of mixed daffs and narcissi, there are yellow ones too. Jonquils look like a bunch of flowers on one stalk - real value for money

I thought I'd discovered a unique daffodil and my fortune was assured. Looks like I'm gonna have to carry on working for a living for a few years longer lol.

Several of the daffodil and narcissus family have multiple heads - Thalia is one (beautiful with multiple white or very pale yellow heads).

Have a look at these https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=da...odils&tbm=isch

My money would be on one of the "cheerfulness" varieties which are just coming out in my garden

My mini daffs (variety unknown, and all deadheaded now), had some doubles but not a quad That's impressive!
