  • Look what the sun did today....

    Only had then a few weeks, bought them at the weekend. Popped them out this morning and the sunshine worked its magic..





    Look forward to getting them in the ground!

    They look very healthy, I used to grow a lot of roses, particularly standards but nowadays I just can't afford them.

      Have you tries Lidl and Aldi Bill? People are quick to dismiss them but they sell a wide variety very cheaply. I filled a border for peanuts a couple of years ago and they are doing well.

        The red one (can't remember name, any ideas?) is real nice.

        The hybrid tea pink sadly fell over in the winds last weekend . Hoping the other buds open in the coming weeks tho.

                      Your roses are very pretty 1tonne. Never tire of them. My grandmother had one of those 70's garden with a rectangular lawn and roses all the way around. I used to 'accidentally' shake the bushes to get more petals for my rose perfume!
