I've had a modicum of success with growing freesias from bulbs, but is it possible to do them from seed? I got a lot of big seed pods formed after the flowers this year. Seems a shame not to try them.

Found this for you:
1. To speed up germination, soak seed overnight in water to soften the coat.
2. Sow 7/8 seeds to a 5” pot containing well-drained compost.
3. Cover the seeds with 1/4” of compost, and germinate at around 20°C.
4. Seeds should take 10-15 days to germinate.
5. Prick out the seedlings into individual 3” pots when they are large enough to handle, and grow on in a well-lit position, but out of direct sunlight.
