Does it smell of anything when you rub the leaves?

Hard to tell from those pics- it either has a distinctive smell or distinctive flowers.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

no smell, although it does spread like mint.

I had saxifraga mossy label close by but that probably the plant next to it. Search on Google with saxifraga mossy brings up too many alpine plants to identify it.

          I don't think its a saxifrage.
If it doesn't have a scent, and you haven't seen the flowers, my guess is it may not be whatever you think you bought!
To be honest, it reminds me of a wild flower that I've seen here in the garden and whose name eludes me.

no its not Peruvian Mint, although it could easily be mistaken as some kind of mint.

I remember my wife buying this couple years ago and although I have'nt really paid any notice of it(flowers etc), this plant looks familiar

Acinos alpinus, I don't know where else I may have seen it except in my garden.

              looks better on this website

I can only wait until next year for it to flower again for me to take a photo of it to be sure

i think it may be a Calamint of some sort - but the lack of smell puzzles me.
Does it have a square stem?

AFAIK all the mints have square stems so that's eliminated most of my suggestions
