I grew some this year for the first time in ages in hanging baskets. They had a good flowering then looked a bit tatty so I chopped them back. They grew back in no time. Never plucked up the courage to eat one mind! -
I agree. I forgot to save seeds from my climbers last year, but they still came up. I have saved some of this years seeds and scattered some into hard to get places.Comment

Mine are all over the greenhouse still going strong. I kinda want them to die off, I want the clean up and re use the space but can't bring myself to pull them out yet....

Bex...plant the onions in a tray/container and transfer them later

So far I have dried them, frozen them, made them into pesto and jarred and frozen that, preserved in oil. I brined the capers.Comment
