  • North facing breeze bloc wall Mortimer Sackler?

I want a climber to disguise this wall. I have well draining soil. Can anyone recommend a climber? would the climbing rose Mortimer Sackler do well here?

Or would I be better to put the rose on the south facing fence? If so what can I grow to hide the north facing wall? I like Wisteria, is there a species that would do well?

    Thanks

Which wall, was there meant to be a picture?

In the brochure David Austin lists Mortimer Sackler as one to grow on a North wall, so go for it

Someone asked a very similar question on gardeners question time (radio 4) this week. The panel gave a whole heap of suggestions including morello cherries and camellias...particular varieties for north facing aspects and which will tolerate pruning and soil conditions.
Might be worth checking their website for the factsheet!

breeze block, you say? You will have to find a way to attach your plants to the wall, ie vine eyes & wire, or trellis

It was the use of the word THIS that confused me. I couldn't see the wall referred to so assumed there was a missing picture.
