  • NOT Petunias, JJ - I never seem to be able to grow them

Pulmonarias, however, fascinate me. Did you know that, in the old Doctrine of Medicine (or summat) their spotted leaves were thought to resemble a diseased lung - and they were used to treat lung infections. Hence the name Pulmonaria or Lungwort.
Whenever I see the leaves, I think of lungs.

Anyway, I've decided, tomorrow is a day for Passion - Passion flowers and Passion fruit.

Viola tricolor hortensis gets my vote
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

      • It was yesterday, many years ago, Trip
Viola has to wait until the 22nd before she sees the light.

          • 2019 - trying this again!

Whilst looking for cyclamen seeds in my seed boxes I found some more C seeds that can be sown at this time of year:-

            Clematis - various
            Camassia leichtlinii
            Crocus tommasianianus
            Craspedia Globosa Drumstick

If you have any of these lurking in your drawers why don't you join me in sowing some today?
