I've got Francoa sonchifolia, it's a very nice well-behaved plant. I remember the leaves as being crinklier than in picture 1 though. I'll take a look in the morning and double check.

We have a flower Admittedly it is not great and am thinking this is meant to be a full sun loving plant as it seems to have taken ages for the flower to get this far.

I am thinking a hardy gerbera but I always thought they were some gimmicky myth type plant and have never seen one to be sure. Any suggestions?

Oh and the plant was split up as it was rather root bound and the old leaves died and went iffy hence the new face lift

Looks like a member of the daisy/Bellis family. Can't quite match the leaves though.
