Yes it is guess that plant time again already. I assume it is a weed purely because it is so ruddy happy and healthy. It looks a bit dock like but each pair of leaves join and they are collecting pools of water

Does it have any scent when you rub the leaves? Could it be horseradish?

Definitely a teaselly thing - horseradish doesn't have such a long stalk, at least not on my site. My neighbour let the teasels be last year, they got to about 10ft high. The birds loved the seeds, but now the bordering plots have them popping up everywhere. They aren't hard to get out though.http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbia

Teasel - keep it if you can as the butterflies and bees adore the flowers as well as the goldfinches feeding on the dry heads. It will seed around ...Last edited by PyreneesPlot; 28-05-2015, 03:57 PM.Le Sarramea https://jgsgardening.blogspot.com/

Unfortunately it is not mine. Someone I know has it and what makes it worse is they actually threw a wildlife pack of seeds down so guessing that is where it is from. Umm. 10ft tall......they are in for a shock, they only have a postage stamp size garden
Thank you all for your help as always
