    hi all,
how would i go about getting seeds off my sweet william (indian carpet mixed)

I assume that they are an F1 hybrid so the chances are they won't come true from seed anyway. But it's fairly straightforward, just let them flower and don't cut the flowers and whe the petals fall you should have seed pods starting to swell. Let them well alone thil they are nearly dry then cut the stem and put them in a paper bag and hang them up somewhere cool & dry and they seeds will fall out of them into the bag.

put all this into an envelope marked up with what it is & the date and keep it in the fridge till next year.

Yes DDL, you can seeds off most plants that way.

          Hi DDL,

You don't have to but they remain viable longer if kept cool
