I buy sunflower hearts now, without shells, for the birds, and the dropped ones seem to grow just as happily as the seeds still in their shells, and if anyone is wondering, sunflower hearts make stripey seed.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land

Had a 6'+ sunflower from cockatiel mix which has striped seed. Also had a c@nn@bis plant from bird seed, nice foliage plant which eventually shredded and composted.Riddlesdown (S Croydon)

weight of the bag is 750g ,thought they didn't put c@nn@bis seed in any more.no I'm not rushing out to buy some..lol
