What tree is this

Moved into a new house recently and the tree in the corner just started to blossom. What is it? :-)

Think I'd go for cherry or plum, will be easier once the leaves appear.

I'm gonna have a stab at Cherry with it having multiple flower stalks.

So can I expect cherries on it in summer? Anything I can do to ensure we get some?

Looks like cherry to me also,the bark is a silvery sheen,the branches look to be spacious between,plus ti's the time off year,my take on other fruit trees is,the branches are more gnawled looking,

I think its a cherry too but, before you build your hopes up, it could be an ornamental cherry and you won't get any worthwhile fruit.
Put another photo up when the leaves open.
