Hi Norfolkgrey, the fluffy pink flower on the right of the photo is a thalictrum aquilegifolium - it grows pretty tall (around 4 foot) and its leaves are very similar to an aquilegia. I really like it at the back of a border, and it's a very reliable perennial which the slugs seem to avoid.
Then in the middle of the vase there's 3 knapweed flowers, which grows all round my plot (again, a quite tall plant, around 3-4 foot)
All the other pink flowers are sweet williams

I dodged the showers this afternoon to pick some more flowers at the allotment. I'm running out of places to put vases...

You're all probably going to tell me that these are weeds..........!
Go on ~ put me out of my misery....!!
Anyway, I cut them from the back garden today because I liked the delicate lilac flowers.......Attached Files~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

Susie, it's up to you whether you call it a weed or not. I see quite a few decorative "weeds" sold in garden centres for stupid prices. Personally I let decorative stuff do its thing until I need the space for something more decorative or productive!Last edited by Martin H; 16-07-2016, 01:09 PM.
