Saw this at my MiL and wondered what it was? Considering pinching a cutting depending on what you think it is! It's growing round a wooden fence.

It looks like Vinca to me. I've got a variegated leaf on mine. Really useful plant, good ground cover in shady spots. -

Jay it looks like a periwinkle and if it is it can become quite invasive

I agree with you Scarlet, and risk the pointy stick!
The best way to propagate would be to find a stem has conveniently touched the soil and rooted itself. Then you can cut it away from the mother plant and pop it in a pot.Comment

No pointy stick today - I agree its Vinca major/periwinkle and that it spreads like periwinkles do
