today was the day to plant out all my marigolds into the garden. I have lovingly nurtured my marigolds through the spring, beaming when i saw this morning that they had their first flush of flowers. Off i went to work with plans for a relaxing evening after work, marrying up said plants with my lovely tomatoes.
Imagine my horror when I arrived back home to find all; YES ALL!! my plants have been shredded by some evil flying beast.
Do I give up and go to Lidl to get their plants or have i got time to resow?
Rather upset!!!
I'm in North Kent. Only moved here last year so not sure whether I've still got time as it's been fairly warm ( on average 14-18) each day for the last 2 weeks. Would that give me enough time?

If i have a thousand ideas and only one turns out good,i am satisfied.- Alfred Nobel
There's plenty of time, marigolds flower into October/November if you deadhead them new flowers grow. Sowing now will still provide flowers, just a month behind the others that got ruined by something. I haven't planted mine out yet,two plants have been eaten by a snail that I found under the shelving in my blow away,I've left them in there incase something else wants to carry on eating it. I've got some plants in the house too that rarely go outside,it is good to have loads of marigolds everywhere.
