  • Need pansy help please! *pics*

    Hey folks,

I planted these pansies (pics here: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet ) about four months ago. Everything else I've grown around that time has grown very well and yet these are small and haven't flowered. The packet didn't say that they have any special requirements, so I am confused as to why they aren't growing well. They are in regular compost and grown from seed

    Has anyone got any advice?

Are they in good light as the first lot look a bit leggy? Have they been fed at all? They could do with weeding!

Thanks for replying. Yes, they are in a prime spot of my greenhouse. I haven't fed them with anything, can you suggest something for me to feed them with? I am new to gardening so unsure which are weeds and which are baby pansies!

The big ones in the first two pictures are weeds (actually the big one in the second pic might be a french or african marigold). There are weeds in the single pots too, the ones that are lighter green.

They aren't doing too badly considering the gloomy weather we've been having. It's been a while since I tried pansies from seed but as I recall they aren't very quick growers. It may be a bit warm for them in the greenhouse, they like a bit of coolth.
