Yep! Dead Anoying!
Having "Backtracked" The problem seems to have developed on the 18/10/2015, pictures posted the day b4 on same said iPad were fine, but ever since been the minute "Thingy's we see now!
Tried to post for a comparison, but it's a closed thread, n won't allow!
But if you look at "Garden Gallery" 2015 you will see my posts n pictures prior to this date were fine!
Please some "Techy Bod" look at this for us lowly iPad users!
Your help for us to become part of our "Mainstream" Grapies! Would be very much appreciated! "Thank You""Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"

I'll second that - Deano. It has to be a fixable problem. When you have no confidence in submitting photos and can't join in with 'Flower of the month' for example it sorta spoils an otherwise magnificent site where I for one have learned so much from others experience and firsthand knowledge.

Hi Cheops, the photo you just took shows as 24KB that is very small file, so it has been auto-resized by the forum. Could you check in your IPAD what the original size was before you posted it please? It might help us to get to the bottom of this!
In case you need help, you can download an app, i.e. you are looking for the filesize, see here for example4 Ways to Find the File Size of an iOS Photo - wikiHow
ps: will test some of my images to see if the resolution of the images is the problem.Last edited by Ryez; 27-07-2016, 08:18 PM.

What is your ipad models? I just had a quick check on camera resolution of ipads and it varies between 4 and 8 MP which is low compare to my windows phone that is at 20MP. Which might explains why your images are resized to 1/5 of the size of mine roughly. I.e. your camera must have roughly 1/5 the megapixels compare to mine. This means that the DEV of the forum needs to allow for this, the resizing ratio in the forum might be too harsh for the resolution of the cameras. That's my educated guess of course.
Here are the resized images properties of mine and of Cheops after posted in the forum and thus resized.
Mine, was resized down to 100KB and still have 905 × 509 pixels, which is plenty.
And here is Cheops, it was resized down to 22KB and has 314 × 236 pixels, which is tiny!
I need exact numbers: camera resolutions in megapixels and size in MB of the original image.
ps: the forum resized the resized images I posted and now look tiny and unreadable! Oh dear! But it doesn't matter, I wrote down the pixels and sizes. :-D and I corrected ratio too.Attached FilesLast edited by Ryez; 27-07-2016, 09:44 PM.
