        No, they growing on someone else's plot and I like them. I am thinking of getting some from my plot.

          Talk to the plot holder. If you are not fussed about colours/types you can grow from seed. If there are particular ones they might be nice and do some cuttings for you.

              It depends a bit on where you are. Down here in the South East most of them survive the winter in the ground. A few die but that's the same if I lift them, dry them off and try and look after them. If I lived somewhere colder but with reasonable winter drainage, I'd still leave them out there but I'd put a layer of protection on top to keep the worst of the frost off; straw or leaves/twigs or something.

                l have never seen the plot owner. :/

                I think I might get some seeds(well tell the OH he is getting the seed coz he is doing the flower side)

                  My problem is that the voles enjoy eating them during the winter months!
