    hi all raised dahlias from seed this year dug a couple up done flowering to my surprise there are tubers on them don't laugh its the first time iv grown them so do I treat the tubers just like any other

    Yes, you can store them somewhere cool and frost-free over winter and they will be fine.

    Or of course you can do some more seed next year.

    Maybe do both and just keep the ones that made the nicest plants?

      If they are worth keeping, you could put them back in the soil a bit deeper to protect from frost, then lift them again in March/April t start them off again, and once growth starts you can take cuttings, remember and label them for colour or shape if they are different

          I never lift my dahlia tubers. I just make sur the crowns are covered up well.

              It depends on your soil, if it gets water logged they will rot. I always lift, can get them off to an earlier start in the greenhouse too.
