Well it has now completely died. Roots have gine limp and the once tiny green shoot that was showing has withered. I give up buying easy plants only to die when I follow guidelines of how to grow them.

Don't give up. It's not too late to get replacements.

So did you plant it out as advised?

My lily of the valley looks dead at the moment, always does at this time of year but will come back. Definitely prefers open ground though.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
