Phew, mystery solved. The huge woolly leaves that look exactly like a mullein are... mullein. The pink flowers that look like a lychnis are... lychnis. Well done Seasprout and everyone else.

That mullein will definitely have yellow flowers but, even though it's in your pinky purple bed, I wouldn't risk moving it in case it didn't survive the transplant. Let it flower, collect seeds for your yellow bed (or send some to me!) and then hoik it out. It might die after flowering anyway.
