Can't put photos up but big bunch of lilac looking and smelling gorgeous in the dining room. Might pick some more tomorrow for my bedroom.

^^^Jealous. It is amazing how much lilac is about. I am probably noticing it more as I have none. Hopefully my stick in the ground will come good next year.

Week 18 - It might not look it but I really struggled this week. Am putting it down to weather as well as lack of things like lilac, sweet rocket and can't think what else I have noticed in other peoples gardens.

I can't compete with NG's artisticness but I wanted to show you this weeks bunch stuck in a vase. It's got my first sweetpeas of the season in it!

Also cornflowers, marguerites and fennel.

Still can't get photos up but had a few more bunches of lilac (sorry NG!) & cut a bunch of aqualegia on Saturday. Noticed them looking a bit sad yesterday & realised I hadn't put water in the vase! Much better now.....

Shame they don't last long in water, but I couldn't resist picking these aquilegias. I love the way they cross-pollinate, every year a new colour seems to appear.

Lovely! I miss Aquilegias, mine have mostly died from Aquilegia Downy Mildew and the remaining ones look very sick and scruffy Let's hope the disease doesn't spread to N Ireland any time soon.

Sorry Martin, I forget about your aquilegias . Hopefully it won't be long before resistant ones start appearing on the market.

I think I have got a slight cut flower addiction, been looking at flowers in the garden and couldn't resist chopping them So sort of week 20.
