  • They're all gorgeous NG. I especially love the colour of the tithonia (or the orange flowers in the last photo, I'm not sure what they are) with the bells of Ireland, the combination looks really cheerful.

Thank you. The flowers in the last one are dahlias (all this years grown from seed, a yellow decorative, an orange decorative and a fruit salad semi pom pom) and cosmos radiance (which you can't see) and pink double click cosmos.

          • Gorgeous arrangements as always NG. I especially love the aster and tithonia combination.

I know you didn't grow them, but the Chinese lanterns are so eye-catching too

            • TY . The aster and tithonia is my fav. too and it is so simple and uses so little material. Just a shame that the asters all tend to come out at the same time.

                      • I wasn't expecting to be cutting flowers in December, but went to the allotment today and found some stragglers of alstromeria, verbena bonariensis, calendula, convolulvus tricolor, geum, snapdragon, poppy, daisy, wallflower, virginian stock and cerinthe. There were even a couple of sweet peas still in flower!

                        • Gorgeous WPG. The only stragglers I have are Valerian and snap dragons but they a looking a bit ropey.

Last weeks more chrysanths - coral reef, downpour and shenkyo (sp?)
