Adding growmore fertiliser to the soil

I see that wilko has got there gardening section instore now i was browsing the shelves and spotted this when do you add it to the soil ???

It's similar to BFB use it in the same way,put a sprinkling around the plants or in old compost mix some in,try not to let it touch the actual plant when applying,if using BFB around foxes I'd dig it in a week or two before planting because it smells like bone,never used growmore it might not smell?
