David Austin Roses (Lady of Shalott)

good Evening,
and a big thank you to Angledon for replying to a earlier post i put up.
i contacted David Austin roses and bought a rose that met most of my requirements.

i bought a lady of shallot shrub rose. i should get it over the next few days.
certainly not the cheapest rose I've been looking at but i hope its going to be worth the investment.

do you any of you guys have this rose in your garden & if how is it getting on?

i just hope i can get it planted at the weekend.

In my garden last summer, super rose and it looks strong just now with new growth all over it.

Well my rose arrived today and WOW!!! I'm really impressed with the packaging and speed of delivery,( although so it should be for the price)
Things only got better once I opened the box a very impressive and healthy looking rose. This thing already about 10" tall. Can't wait to plant it at the weekend.

I can see why you would pay that bit extra for a David Austin. Already thinking of my next buy to go along with lady of shallot,

Looks and sounds like a beautiful rose - I think I may add this to my collection.

Steve, the only advice i can give is prepare the soil well, plant and enjoy!
