hi iv'e found some seeds in a bed on the plot that iv'e took over ,can anyone addvise how I grow them ,do I crack the shell off or just plant ?atb Dal.

Just plant them. Leaves, flowers and fresh seeds are all edible with a mustard like flavour.

Yes, just stick them in. Half the time I don't even bother sowing them properly. I just poke them in with my finger, & sometimes just throw them on the ground or at a pot. I had some flowering from a partially rotted tree stump last year when I spilt some!Last edited by happyhumph; 18-03-2017, 09:37 PM.Another happy Nutter...

If you have space undercover you can sow now for earlier flowers. Frost will kill them though, so if you're sowing outside you're best holding off.
There were 2 tiny seedlings on my plot today. I was so pleased to see them I squeaked. They are a sign that Spring has properly arrived.http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbia
