What perennial would be a good companion for catmint walkers low? Something to plant in front of the catmint as a border. Any suggestions?☺

Companion plant for catmint?

Catmint (nepeta cataria) tends to grow tall then flop and sprawl in every direction so I think anything small you plant in front of it would be covered and smothered unless you intend to prop up the catmint with supports.
If I was going to put another plant with nepeta, I'd choose one with acid yellow tones, such as alchemilla mollis, or one of the euphorbias, to contrast the pale purple.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.
