Echium Vulgare ..Blue

Of my blue flowers , one is white . Has anyone saved seeds from echium and been successful re-sowing? I fancy trying to save the white and blue separately if possible.

Only just discovered Echiums, absolutely got to have one, is it too late to set seed for next year? Or better buying a known biggy in the spring?

Mine is blue bedder rather than the tall echiums. I sow the seeds each spring.
