IF you had to choose one genus of plants in your garden, which would it be?
Being a self-confessed planta-Holic- It's a very tough call but I think I'd opt for
Primula (family Primulaceae) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primula
I just love the variations in colour and form from the
very dainty wildflower primrose
and nodding Cowslips and Oxslips,
the vivid Primula Vialii
to the stately Beesiana Candelabra types - blooming in such a wonderful colour selection not to mention the many surprise crosses that occur in your garden as they are rather promiscus -flowering in spring-summer and autumn for me they really are, a must have in any garden
