Can you prune Heucheras at any time of the year mine are getting quite big can i prune them at this time of year???

I do tidy mine up throughout the year by just removing any spent flowers, dead or cross over foliage to keep the plant neat and to allow good aeration for the plants and their neighbours- never done anything more than that though maybe another member can help with anything more major if that's what you had in mind

Have you got any photos? I do the same as Bee....if the plant is getting too big for the space perhaps move it or divide it and replant?Comment
