I've just started a Cuttings bed! Sounds grand but its really just an odd bit of ground that I'm bunging all the broken bits of plants and prunings into - and hoping that something will take. They're the bits that look too good to throw away (compost).
It only has Pineapple Sage and a lovely dark blue salvia in it so far but there'll be more.
Usually, these oddments are stuck in a bucket of water and left to root or rot! Shoving them in the ground makes it seem more "professional" somehow!
What do you do with your broken bits? Can you bear to part with them or do you have to give them a chance of life?
