Has anyone grown the 6-8' tall dahlias? Imagine dahlias taller than people.

Yes Kitty, they will develop tubers.
Are they out in the open ground or in containers.
Are you lifting the tubers atvthecrnd of the growing season or are you leaving them in the ground over winter.
If you are leaving them in the ground be sure to protect the crowns from frost.
And when your back stops aching,

Brilliant VC, I ordered mine and put them in small pots...a good few are a reasonable size some have some small flower buds forming. A few were no shows but if I can manage to keep some I’m going to use them for trying to take tuber cuttings early.Last edited by Scarlet; 20-09-2018, 08:50 PM.
