That’s a lovely wee plant. Wonder if it might work well in the slightly shady back border I’m planning.

        • Probably - its a wild flower that grows in woodland and hedgerows. Its sprawls and spreads. https://www.plantlife.org.uk/uk/disc...ter-stitchwort

Here's another photo of it against a fence where it has little sun.

Closeups of two primulas ( using my new gadget that clips on to my phone).
All slowly fading away now till next year - but all the lovely annuals yet to come.

                  • Jack by the Hedge/Hedge garlic/garlic mustard - lots of names.
I eat the leaves in a salad but, most of the time. I pull it up by the roots when I spot it as it spreads too easily.

This white lilac looks good today but too quickly goes brown round the edges. If it was up to me, it would be cut back into the hedge it came out of.

                        • I've wondered about leaving a rhubarb to set seed and see whether they'll grow themselves nearby.

Here's my flower - flowering perennial kale - variety unknown - in the Kale Forest.

                          • I’ve got too many crowns as it is but I did think of splitting one and putting in the flower borders to let it flower. They are quite spectacular.
