My flower of the day is a day lily, perhaps I will post an other one on tomorrow as it will be a new flower
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

That's a lovely colour daylily, rary, all mine are yellow or orange.
Staying with the lily theme, mine's Tree lilies. They're over 6 feet and much better than last year, when first planted. Gorgeous perfume too.

Im going with this lavetera/mallow plant. It self seeded in my garden but it did it in the perfect spot. It’s looked lovely for weeks...I may even try taking a few cuttings and use it as a summer unruly hedge

Crocosmia Lucifer for me today. I often see the common orange variety about - I have some of those too but rarely do you see any others. This is stunning, 4ft tall - needs a good support.

Blue Lobelia
Scarlet my Lucifer crocosmia hasn't started to make a flower head yet, though as I pull it out as a weed that's possibly a he reason

I pulled my globe thistle out one year thinking it was a weed...I put it back in and it survived...that maybe one for tomorrow
