One for today -globe thistle. I know Martin says these are easy from seed but this doesn’t seem to be the case for this I think NG tried as well....but it splits well in Autumn. I have several of these dotted around.
Fabulous in a vase as they last so long.

Cornflower, strangely I never seem to get these to grow but these are growing on a bit of newly disturbed soil. Perhaps that’s the answer.

Same here, Roitelet. I'll try sowing disturbing soil for them. Love cornflowers.

My flower is another Lily. Sorry, no idea what type but its scented.

VC that's one of my problems also I never label my plants, though yours looks quite like a trumpet lily, but what difference does it make, you like it, it smells nice and looks lovely

What's in a name?!! I'm just worried you'll tell me off for having lots of lilies as my FOTD when they may all be the same ones.

I don't think you need to worry about that as there is really only one person I know who is eagle eyed to spot that, and if she does just talk to her and tell her age has privileges, at your age you will get off with it

I don't think Scarlet will appreciate you talking about her age like that, rary.

My flower for today is Phlox.....i have several different ones, they’ve all done very well in this sun and they look fabulous in the border.
This is a lovely bright pink one - I don’t know the variety.

                              • Scarlet you know its not you I am referring to

And as you have the Lucifer crocosmia I was wondering if you have the other tall one similar to Lucifer but with Orange flowers I was going to post it as my flower for tomorrow but I don't have its name, and was wondering if you knew its name
I have decided to post it now anyway
