Thanks for that Scarlet, but I must decline the offer, one woman ordering me about is enough, and I know what your flower is,....

    .......lovely

    • It’s a Platycodon or Balloon Flower. Easy from seed and perennial. The blue ones seem to be hardier than the pink or white ones. I love the intense blue.

      • That's beautiful, roitelet. Another one added to my "must grow" list.

My flower is this yellow thing! Don't know what it is but it spreads a bit too easily into a big clump. Does anyone recognise it? I call it the shaggy yellow daisy thing!!

Even this article refers to "shaggy yellow daisy flowers" https://www.theguardian.com/lifeands...-inula-hookeri

VC I do hope that you remember that the challenge is not just going to be in the winter but now, if we don’t get dome rain soon all the flowers will be will be dead!

BTW I could send you some Platycodon seeds a bit later in the year.

Thanks for the offer - I'll check my seeds first.
