Pretty in pink, Oenothera, only found out the name because a catalogue arrived the other day. Can be a bit invasive but will tolerate poor dry soil. When it starts looking tatty chop it off and it will re flower.

^^^^^ That flower above, Calendula, to me, does not get the recognition it deserves, it has a lovely shape and now more mixed colours, easy to grow and edible though I have never came across seeds for snow princess, but will watch out for it nowit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

The verbena bonarensis is supposed to be a hardy perennial but sadly not in my area as I can never get it to survive the winter, think its too wet and cold for it, and VC I thought the ox eye daisy had a black centre though I could be wrong, whatever it is its nice as it gives some brightness to the gardenLast edited by rary; 24-07-2018, 09:28 AM.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
