  • My Flower is a Pencilled geranium/cranesbill (geranium versicolor) I think.
I'd class it as a wildflower as it just appeared and is spreading very slowly. The flowers are small but intricately marked and you have to get up close and personal to appreciate it.

      • I had to wait for the sun to come out to photograph this one, Osteospernam or Cape Daisy.

          • Had to goggle that one, rary! Looks like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crinodendron_hookerianum and rather nice too.

My flower is one of the begonias from the great Begonia epidemic that caused a rash of begonias across the UK.

                • Another Salvia macrophillia, this time Hot Lips. The colour is interesting as it changes with the temperature. The hotter it gets the less red until the flowers are white and when it gets colder the reverse happens leaving red flowers.

Reminds me of a lesson from school about word of mouth where a message sent" Send reinforcements we are going to advance" finished "Send three and four pence we are going to a dance"
So rather than a Chinese Lantern it should be a Chilean Lantern
