      • I've squeezed the dahlias in on top of pots with spring bulbs and with geraniums. Haven't planted any in the ground. Still have more to plant

          • The one and only Viola cornuta. They usually seed themselves all over the place but this year there is only one.

Don't get suckered Scarlet, I think she turns that pointy stick around and uses it as a wand
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                    • ^^^ Like those, cheops They're going on my wants list for next year!

My flower is a Yellow rose, perfumed and prolific and, even better, it was Free from Homebase a couple of years ago when I "helped" them dispose of a load of unsaleable plants

                      • Not a bad reward at all. Beautiful flower heads. And scented too! I’m looking for a climbing rose of any colour except white [as the wall is while]. I wonder if I could be as helpful and as lucky as you.

It’s really good that doing this “flower of the Day” is really making me stop to look properly at the plants in the garden that I normally take for granted.

I would totally agree Farendwoman. Also looking at others’ photos can inspire one to get that plant.

                            • Sorry I posted this one some time ago.
Just shows ...... it’s been flowering and looking good for weeks.
                              Here’s a cosmos veloute instead.
Hope I haven’t posted this one already too! I’m getting very scatty these days.
The flowers underneath are gypsophila murabilis and euphorbia diamond frost.
Both beautiful little frothy things that I really like.
Anyone else having trouble uploading photos today?
Can’t get this one to go in.

                              • Farenwoman - Didn’t have any trouble this morning uploading the photo I took. Hope you can get things sorted.
Veggie glad you like the tiger lilies. I have a patch of double tiger lilies also - these doubles I will post a photo tomorrow.
