Beautiful late summer flowering plant that bees love. Commonly called the ‘obedient plant’. Bought this plant a couple of years ago in the Pound shop and it has flourished. It spreads by producing rhizomes underground. Obedient plants got this common name because stems can be bent to stay in place, not for the plant’s habit in the garden.

Thx Roitelet.
Veggie - Japanese Anemone is on my next year’s list. I keep meaning to buy this plant. I think the pastel pink one is stunning but I can remember as a child a think clump of them at home but they were white. I'll probably buy both white and pink.
