  • My Flower is Red Campion / Silene Diocia - a wildflower that is trying to take over my garden.
Looks great in a mass and the bees and butterflies like it. Long flowering season - but drawing to a close now - as you can see.

              Today’s flower is feverfew.
I thought it had finished, so cut it right down when it got tatty. Here it goes again.

              • Earlier this week I posted a photo of a hybrid lily called Lady Alice. Lady Alice is a hybrid of a lily called Henryi and here is Henryi - first buds have opened. I have them in two separate patches but looking at them flowering they would compliment each other so I must put them together when they become dormant.

                  • Another surprising item in the strawberry patch - these begonias are a delight!
Who'd have thought I was daft enough to plant them in these odd places (No need to answer ).

                      • Here is a climbing? fuchsia, called Lady Boothby and just to let you know it has been in the same pot for the last 4 years with no protection so I would class it a hardy fuchsia. Click image for larger version

                          • Today my flower of the day is a trailing begonia from one of my baskets, I find begonias one of the best flower basket plants, you don't need to water that often nor do you need to dead head them
