This is a lovely ‘rosebud’ white rose which is in a large ceramic pot. It never grows more than a foot high and requires little pruning. After the recent storm and rain blemishes have appeared over the petals which is not surprising. More annoying are the holes in the foliage which I think is caused by earwigs. Earwigs are probably the biggest pest of all in my garden.

I’m afraid I’ve went out into the now tired garden and cannot find a new flower to photo - so sadly I must call it a day. Thank you everyone who allowed me to see your flowers in bloom - many were truly inspiring and I will next year be growing some new flowers and plants thanks to this inspiration. I truly looked forward each day to having a peep into someone else’s garden.
To finish I thought I would look through this year’s photos I had taken and present some of them in the order of this year’s seasons to give an idea how from winter through to autumn my garden has grown and developed then went into decline and rest.
Can only do 5 photos at a time. Left to right -8th Dec, 13th April [2 photos], 6th May and 30th May.
