Flower of the Day for a year - a Challenge!

  • Cheops - hope you have a wonderful holiday and find lots of places selling seeds.

    My Flower is a Sedum ?Spectabile, still carrying last year's seed heads.
    I call it Sedum but it seems to have been renamed to the totally unpronounceable https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hylotelephium_spectabile

    Wish they'd stop doing that.

        • Like cheops, I will be heading to sunnier climes shortly, I didn't realise that the sold seeds over there now I will have to go and see if OH will give me some pesetas so I can buy some

          • To a very good example but a late flowering wild Campanula. When they are doing well they get to about a metre high.

            • Again its a geranium these flowers keep giving a display even when the temperature has been down at 3c, just give them a bit of shelter and the last quite well

                          • Its Back to the Fuchsia for me.
                            No idea what it is, think I picked it up cheap somewhere a few years ago. I love their garish colours, especially at this time of year when the garden is become drabber (is that a word?)
