Flower of the Day for a year - a Challenge!

today my flower is a chive, standing up quite well to the frost



I have tried to attach a photo of my begonias but unfortunately I cannot get it to load

This is the photograph I tried to load in the last post, I cropped it a bit to get it to load, I don't understand why I had that problem I have always managed to upload with no difficulty in the past

as you can see I am going for the wabi sabi look now

My flower is a Vinca - periwinkle. An invasive, spreading, evergreen perennial but the flowers are lovely.

Another begonia survivor that's appeared amongst the beans. Don't think it will survive the weather much longer.

Most of my flowers are gone I have one tub of geraniums in against the side of the house, and that all the flowers I have now, I have photographed it before, but will take another tomorrow

I noticed these flowers just now,I can’t get very close though,a new flower for the day it’s a low growing perennial maybe primula but that’s a guess,I planted them there about ten years ago they don’t spread much at all,also this dahlia looks pretty with a tiny hint of pink in the petals

My Flower aka Weed of the day is known by many names:-
Wood Avens/ Herb Bennett/ Geum urbanum - to me its known as a Pain.

Once the flowers die, a bristly seed head forms which catches in the dogs' fur and tangles it into a knotted ball that has to be cut out as its almost impossible to free it.
