I was going round the garden taking photos of the daffs & plum blossom & I spotted a flower on the meteor peas

I think this is a spiraea
My mum called it “Bridal Wreath”. Doesn’t last long but is lovely in a posy with forget me nots.

I adore these flowers. A few have popped up on my front garden which makes me happy. Do you find they are better in sun or slightly shady?

Slightly shady for me.
They self sow too.
I recently gave away all last years seed to a chap who wanted to sprinkle them in his field, but will be able to save some more later if you want some.
Remind me in a couple of months, they take a while to ripen.

Have some tulips - think they were called something like Icecream when I bought them yellow stickered last year.

Thanks that’s so kind. Am hoping to transplant the ones I have into the back garden Scots more shady than the front. Will wait until they have died back.
