And some Hesperis. Sadly only one mauve one - all the rest white.
Might have a go st taking cuttings from the mauve one.
        In compost or in water????

        • Another green flower - similar to Angelica - but its Lovage. Its springing up in all sorts of unexpected places, many feet away from the parent plant.

Yippeee - my first cornflower of the year.
              Loads of buds too.

              • Yellow poppy looks like a Welsh Poppy, they seed everywhere Chrissy.

My flower for today is an Aqulegia long spurred hybrid grown from seed and would do much better in the ground!!

Another one that’s technically a weed as not chosen and planted strategicly rather self seeded and growing in a pot with a dead tree (it didn’t survive the dry summer last year but I was hoping it had hence it still being in the garden) But it’s pretty none the less! (The flower not the dead tree )

I love them - all different shapes and colours and spring up so randomly wherever they like. My kind of flower

If the top petal was removed it would look like a butterfly.
