            it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                • Yep that would make sense. I sowed 20 centaurea dealbata in Autumn last year, 6 germinated and I have gradually lost all of them this spring for various reasons. Then nature just decides to drop a different cornflower in on me just to take the Mick.

                    • Asphodel or Jacobs staff as it is known here. Ok until the seed pods start to form and they look like martians eyeballs, that’s when I chop off the flowers. The foliage is rather nice though, grey green and grassy.

                        • Buttercup.
                          If these were marketed as "bright yellow flowers that reflect the sun, easy to grow, low maintenance, perennials" the plants would be sold at inflated prices by "some" seed retailers.

                              • Knautia red cherries is flowering just behind these purple flowers I don’t know the name of,these purple flowers are slowly spreading across the garden,they’re really low maintenance & good ground cover-
