  • Holes in my cosmos flowers

Anyone have any idea what could be making holes in my cosmos flowers.
The plants look lovely and healthy, but as soon as the flowers open they have fine lacy holes in the petals.
No good for a lovely vase of flowers at all. Can't see any obvious culprits - no aphids or caterpillars.

My guess is earwigs. Go out tonight after dark with a torch and if i’m correct you may well spot some feasting.
