Got some freebie seeds

Verbena bonariensis
Echinacea
Rudbeckia

None of which I've grown from seed before. Has anyone else with success?
My grounds too wet and heavy in winter for direct sowing so I plan to start them Autumn in modules.

My experience of growing Echinacea from seed is they started off well and then growth "Stalled" for a while.

Once established the purple ones get off to a quicker start than the white come springtime.

PS the slugs like the young shoots so you'll need to do something to protect them.

Bonarensis is easy and once you have got it you will never be without it! Is your Rudebeckia an annual? If so start it in early spring.

Needless to say I didn't get going with these.
I'm going to have a go at verbena , usually dies in the winter tbh. So wet .
The rudbeckia is an annual, rudbeckia hirta rustic dwarf.
I also have larkspur and helianthus lemon queen also California poppies and calendulas.
Looking forward to starting.
